Prize Structure
Each award category rewards excellence in fragrance journalism and the winner receives a £1000 cheque and a crystal trophy.

The Jasmine Literary Award for the Best Article in a magazine, in excess of 800 words
Awarded for an in depth piece of original journalism demonstrating through its creativity, substance and style the writer’s knowledge and ‘feel’ for the subject of fragrance.

The Jasmine Literary Award for the Best Article in news press, in excess of 800 words
Awarded for an in depth piece of original journalism demonstrating through its creativity, substance and style the writer’s knowledge and ‘feel’ for the subject of fragrance.

The Jasmine Visual Award
Awarded for the best visualization of an article, in excess of 200 words, on the subject of fragrance.

The Jasmine Soundbite Award for the best short article in a magazine, minimum of 300 words
Awarded for a piece which is short and sweet and ‘of the moment’

The Jasmine Soundbite Award for the best short article in news press, minimum of 300 words
Awarded for a piece which is short and sweet and ‘of the moment’

The Jasmine Award for Best Practical Guide to Fragrance
Awarded for the best ‘how to’ piece - how to buy, what to wear, what suits who.  Article can be of any length

The Jasmine Award for Best Article in a Customer Magazine
Awarded for a piece on fragrance from an ‘in-house’ publication.  Article can be of any length

The Jasmine Award for Best Website Feature on Fragrance
Awarded for the most exciting online piece on fragrance, this piece will be judged on excellence in writing, presentation and originality.  Feature can be of any length.
The feature must be an original piece of work specifically designed, created, styled and written for a website.  A direct reproduction of a news press or magazine article will not qualify.

The ‘Best of the Best’ Article on Fragrance
The collective choice of the judging panel and considered the best written and most entertaining piece of writing on fragrance irrespective of length.
           
Articles may be entered for any one category and/or the Visual Award.
